Pro tip: do NOT try to save a big hydrangea order with warm water

I had a wedding client bring in 40 stems that were totally wilted from her car, and I spent 2 hours trying to revive them with warm water like I always did. Turns out for that specific variety, cold water with a splash of vinegar was the fix, but I wasted half my morning. Anyone have a better method for last-minute hydrangea rescue?

My friend once dunked her sad hydrangeas in ice water and it worked like magic.

Wait, is that a real thing? Seems like a lot of drama for a plant.

Oh man, totally. It's wild how much effort we put into fixing small stuff. I mean, we'll spend an hour trying to revive a droopy plant or get the perfect foam on a latte. But then bigger problems, like actual life stuff, we just ignore. Maybe it's easier to focus on the small wins we can control.

Not sure if that's a flower emergency or just a Tuesday.
