Switched from a basic respirator to a proper PAPR unit for our sandblasting booth. The difference in my lungs after just one shift was night and day.

Our old shop used the 3M Versaflo system. Took a week for the ringing in my ears to stop with the old gear. PAPR is a game changer.

That "ringing in my ears" line is so real. My uncle worked in a body shop for years and his old half mask respirator gave him these brutal headaches from the suction. Said it felt like his eyeballs were getting pulled out.

Try a PAPR system, it stops the suction and the headaches.
