I just blew $400 on a 'must-have' freelance finance course that was total junk

Saw this ad for a course promising to teach you how to structure your LLC for maximum tax savings. The guy made it sound like a magic bullet. I signed up, paid the $400, and it was just a bunch of recycled blog posts and a basic template you could find for free. The 'advanced strategies' were just telling you to talk to an accountant, which I already do. Honestly felt like I got scammed. Has anyone found a legit resource for this stuff that's actually worth paying for?

Man, that's the worst. Been there with those "magic bullet" courses that just repackage free info.

What really gets me is how they sell the IDEA of a shortcut. The free info is out there, sure, but they're not selling info, they're selling the fantasy that you won't have to do the hard, boring work. That's the real scam, packaging motivation as a secret method. It preys on that feeling of being overwhelmed. They make you think the problem is you just don't KNOW the right thing yet.

Totally agree with that idea about selling the shortcut fantasy. It's like they're not just taking your money, they're stealing your time and hope too. You finish the course feeling even more lost than before, because the promised secret was just a lie. That emotional letdown after the hype does real damage to your drive. They know people are desperate for a clear path and they exploit that feeling perfectly. It makes you doubt every other piece of advice you see online.
