Just had a chat with my barber that made me rethink my pricing
He said 'you're the expert, act like it' when I told him my rates, and it hit different coming from another small business owner. How do you guys handle that confidence gap when talking money with new clients?

Wait, what if your barber just upsells everyone? Maybe your old price was fine.

Maybe the barber just got better at their job and the new price shows that. A good haircut takes real skill, you know? Could be they bought nicer tools or spent time learning new styles. Quinn606, sometimes you get what you pay for, and a small bump might mean a way better result.

Hey, I get what you're saying but sometimes a price hike is just about higher rent or bills, not better skills! Quinn606 has a point about upselling being a real thing in service jobs too. Not every increase means you're getting more for your money.

Only if your barber was already overcharging you in the first place.

Yeah, that barber gave you some solid advice, it's tough to own your worth like that.
