Just realized my old client from 3 years ago in Chicago came back because I kept sending those simple check-in emails.

It was a $500 job back then, but this week they booked me for a whole new project. Anyone else have a client come back from way back when?

That's awesome, and it totally works. Kept sending holiday cards to a guy who bought a logo from me like five years ago. He just hit me up last month for a full website redesign, which was a way bigger job. Those little touches really do pay off eventually lol.

Wonder how often you sent those check-in emails. Was it like every few months, or just once a year around the holidays? Also, did you keep the emails super generic, or did you try to make them personal based on what you remembered about the client?
