Hit 100 hours on my new e-reader and it's still at 40%

I bought a Kobo Libra 2 six weeks ago and just checked the battery stats for the first time. Honestly, I was sure the 30-day claim was marketing fluff, but I've read almost every night and it's barely dipped. Has anyone else found a gadget that just wildly beat the specs you were promised?

Doubt that claim, my old Kindle barely lasted a week with heavy use.

Screen brightness matters a lot too. Mine lasts way longer with it turned down.

Wait, 100 hours and still over a third left? That's not a battery, that's a black magic trick. My old tablet would have given up the ghost twice by now. Matthewmiller's right to be suspicious about most claims, but this sounds like they actually undersold it. What are you reading, just text files of the dictionary?
