Serious question, has anyone else found the new smartwatch battery life claims to be way off?

I was really skeptical about the battery lasting 10 days on the new Garmin Venu 4. I thought it was just marketing talk. After using it for a month, I have to say it's actually true. I only charged it twice in that whole time. What other gadgets have you all found where the reviews were wrong?

Wait, that's the Venu 3, not a 4. Garmin hasn't released a 4 yet. But yeah, their battery claims are usually solid. I had the opposite with a fitness tracker years ago. It said seven days but died in three with normal use. Some laptop reviews said you could get all day on a charge, but that was only with the screen dim and just writing. Real use cut that in half.

Honestly, it's a total crapshoot. My old phone's battery was supposed to last a full work day, but it was dead by lunch if I used it for anything real. You just can't trust the lab test numbers they use for those claims. Real world use is always harder on the battery.

Yeah that Fitbit claim sounds familiar, mine said five days but barely made it to three.

My old Fitbit always died a day short of their claim.
