Just learned how much of the Grand Canyon is actually missing
Tbh, I was reading an old geology textbook and it said over a billion years of rock layers are gone from the canyon due to erosion. I always pictured it as a complete stack. Anyone else have a favorite 'missing piece' of a famous rock formation?
Hang on, are we really calling a missing chunk of a building "wild"? I mean, I get it looks different, but people act like it's some kind of architectural miracle. You could say the same thing about a broken fence post or a dented car. It's just a design choice, not exactly a miracle of engineering. Maybe calm down a little, it's a building, not a UFO sighting.
