My cousin insists we never had that chat, but I remember it clearly
Is this a glitch in our memories, or did we slip into alternate realities? Let's hear your views.

Ever have a memory so clear it feels like a movie scene, only to find out your co-star doesn't even remember filming it? That's the worst. I'm with @adam919 on this, it really does feel like a personal Mandela effect. Our brains aren't perfect recorders, they're more like messy storytellers filling in gaps. It's wild how two people can walk away from the same moment with two totally different stories. Makes you question your own mind sometimes.

Know exactly how you feel, it happens with my friends too. Our brains just save memories a bit differently sometimes. Maybe it's like a personal Mandela effect thing, where facts get mixed up.

Used to think my memory was like a video camera, you know, just playing back exactly what happened. Then I had this huge fight with my buddy over who paid for pizza last month, both of us totally sure we were right. Found the receipt in my junk drawer, and we were both wrong, a third friend covered it. That messed me up. Now I get it, my brain just makes up a story that feels true, and it's scary how sure I can be about stuff that never even went down that way.
