My go-to font site went down right before a client pitch yesterday
I had to scramble and pull a new typeface from a random Behance moodboard, which actually got the client more excited about the whole project direction.

Oh man, scrambling for a new font right before a pitch sounds like my personal nightmare. It's funny how those last-minute panic moves sometimes work out better than the plan. I once spent a whole week picking the "perfect" font only for the client to hate it.

Honestly I gotta disagree, last minute changes almost always backfire in my experience. That rushed font choice might look okay now but it probably has bad spacing or missing characters you didn't catch. Spending a week on a font shows you care about the details, even if the client hated it that time. At least you can stand behind your process instead of just throwing something together in a panic, lol.
