My neighbor's morning routine seen from my balcony changed my view on home workouts

I always figured you needed weights to get strong, but watching him do bodyweight exercises every day without fail showed me otherwise.

Does bodyweight stuff really build muscle like weights? It just seems so minimal from far away.

Haha, tell that to my shaky arms after ten push-ups. Honestly though, it builds plenty if you can't do it easy.

Seriously, look at gymnasts. Their whole thing is moving their own weight and they're ripped. It's all about making it harder. Regular push-ups get easy, so you do archer push-ups or handstand push-ups. Try doing a proper pull-up or a pistol squat and tell me it's minimal. It can absolutely build muscle if you push the difficulty. Ever tried a one-arm push-up?
