Sent my pals a paid home workout PDF and now I feel guilty
So I bought this home workout plan from a fitness person online. It cost a bit of money but really helped me get stronger. My friends saw my results and asked how I did it. I just emailed them the whole plan without thinking. Now I keep thinking about the person who made it losing out. Is it bad to share stuff like this? I need some advice on what to do.

Honestly, that guilt is your conscience kicking in for a reason. Sharing paid content like that directly hurts the creator's income. I saw @anthony_brown39 mention buying another copy of an ebook, and it makes sense. If you can afford it, just pay for the plan again to clear your head. Or tell your friends to buy their own if they want to use it. Feeling bad about this stuff shows you care about supporting people's work.

Yeah I've done that with an ebook before. Ended up buying another copy to clear my conscience.

Totally get that, @anthony_brown39. I did the same thing with a digital art book I kept using for projects. Finally just paid for it properly last month, and it honestly feels better knowing the artist got their share. Now I can use the files without that little nagging feeling.

You already know it's wrong, that's why you feel bad. The creator put in work and deserves to get paid for it. Your friends getting a free ride means less money for the person who made the thing you love. Tell your pals to buy their own copies if they want to use it. Supporting the work is how we make sure good stuff keeps getting made.
