Why does nobody talk about the wrist pain from testing old controllers?

Ngl, everyone acts like it's no big deal, but my carpal tunnel flares up every time I play on original hardware.

Six months of coding without breaks gave me nerve damage... The tingling in my fingers still hasn't gone away after a year.

Did you ever get checked by a doctor or just assume it was discomfort? Nerve damage isn't just sore muscles, it can permanently mess up your grip strength.

But what if our bodies are just adapting to new kinds of work? People used to get different aches from manual labor. Maybe constant typing just builds up a new kind of muscle memory, and that tingling is part of the adjustment. I've had weird feelings in my hands that came and went without seeing a doctor. Sometimes the fear of permanent damage makes us notice every little twitch more.
