Seeing EV plugs in my parking lot pushed me to buy an electric vehicle

My building added electric car chargers six months ago. I was curious but did not act until I saw my neighbor use one daily. He explained how he charges at night when rates are low. I did the math and found I could save hundreds each year. Now I drive an electric car and love the quiet motor. The best part is knowing I'm putting less pollution in the air. Adding chargers can really help cut down on pollution.

Hearing about your neighbor's daily charging habit shocked me. It reminds me of what wendy_henderson21 said about trig making sense when you actually use it. Saving hundreds each year just from plugging in at night is a game changer. I always thought EV chargers were just for show, but they really push people to switch.

Totally get what you mean about things clicking later. Had the same thing happen with basic geometry when I was trying to lay down a tile pattern in my kitchen last fall. All those angles and measurements from school just suddenly made perfect sense while I was holding a trowel. It's wild how the real world makes you actually understand stuff (the stuff you swore you'd never need). Your neighbor's charging story is exactly that kind of lesson, just for saving money instead of cutting tile. Makes the switch to an EV feel way less like a weird tech thing and more like just a smart habit.

Your math homework actually paid off.

Remember a specific trigonometry problem from junior year about roof angles. It made zero sense until last month when I was trying to figure out if a new shed would fit in my backyard. All that random stuff we learn gets filed away and pops up at the weirdest times. It's like our brains are just waiting for a real world use case to finally connect the dots.

Man, that practical knowledge hits different than textbook problems.
