Remember that thrill of not knowing what you'll find? I just miss the part where I buy someone else's weird junk instead of my own. At least online shopping lets me be disappointed in private.

Actually @dylant31, getting disappointed in private sounds pretty boring. Finding weird junk with friends is half the fun.

Last Saturday at the flea market, my buddy Jake found a broken neon sign shaped like a taco. We spent hours laughing about where it came from and who would buy it. But what makes those moments stick with you more than just getting a package in the mail? Is it the shared guesswork, like trying to figure out if that vintage toaster still works, or something else?
