Warning: I thought tree planting challenges were pointless hype before my city's event

I used to laugh at those social media drives to plant trees, thinking they were just for likes. Then I helped with one that went viral in our area and saw hundreds of new saplings go in the ground. The group energy and seeing the progress in real time totally flipped my view. These challenges work because they turn a slow, solo job into something quick and shared.

Yeah @cameron_hernandez69 I was doubtful too until our neighborhood planted 500 trees together last spring.
