Did you cut out late-night screen time too, or was it just the consistency that helped?

Honestly @the_eric, trying to pick between cutting screens or keeping a schedule is like asking which leg you need to walk. You kind of need both. My own sad experiment proved that going to bed at the same time but still scrolling just left me tired and fully updated on random internet drama. The blue light tricks your brain into thinking it's noon, so consistency just means you're regularly lying there awake. Ditching the phone was the final piece that actually made the early bedtime work.

Actually read something from Huberman Lab about this, @the_eric. The combo of consistent timing and less blue light at night helps a ton.

Honestly @the_eric, turning off screens an hour before bed changed everything for me. Tbh, I swapped my phone for a boring book and now I'm out like a light. Consistency matters, but ditching the blue light is what really seals the deal.
