Shoutout to the tweet breaking down that years-long wait for the album drop

This tweet went viral talking about an album that took forever to release. Fans were all over it, but the tweet listed all the missed deadlines. I looked it up and saw the artist kept changing the track list. It made me realize how long waits can make things seem better than they are. Now I wait for full reviews before I get excited.

Saw a deep dive on this same album delay thing. The article broke down how hype builds over time until the real thing can't match up. It pointed out that artists sometimes get stuck in endless tweaking, which hurts the final product. I remember reading about one band that changed producers three times and fans lost interest. Now I always check if the hype is just about the wait or the actual music. Long delays usually mean something went wrong behind the scenes.

It's annoying when the wait hides the real music.

Tool's last album finally came out after 13 years, and honestly, the hype made it hard to just enjoy the songs. I spent so long waiting that every note felt like it had to be perfect, which kinda ruined it. It's like the delay built up this imaginary version in my head that the real thing couldn't match. Sometimes I wish they'd just release stuff when it's ready without all the buildup.
