My week in a glitchy VR realm made me love broken worlds
I spent last week in a glitchy VR world that was supposed to be a fantasy realm. Instead of smooth textures, everything had clipping issues and random physics bugs. But messing with those flaws led to the most creative moments I've had online. Now I seek out janky experiences because they feel more alive. Everyone chases perfect graphics, but I'd take a broken world any day.

Wait, you actually like when things break? I used to get so mad at stuff like that, but maybe you're right. Finding the fun in the bugs sounds way better.

Remember that Skyrim glitch where you could ride dragons like a horse? What was the first bug that made you stop and laugh instead of getting frustrated?

Actually, it's the bugs that turn into memes that get me. @grant380 has a point about choosing to laugh instead of getting mad. Like in Fallout New Vegas, when a deathclaw would just t-pose and slide across the desert. What even is that? Who decides to get angry when the game breaks in such a silly way? Or when NPCs in old RPGs repeat the same line forever. You start to wonder if they're broken or just really into their job.

Wait, you saw a deathclaw just t-posing and sliding around? That's not a bug, that's a feature of pure nightmare fuel... How does that even happen? I'd probably scream first and then laugh until I cried. @grant380 is onto something though, because getting mad at something that silly feels like a waste... it's better to just enjoy how totally broken and weird games can be sometimes.
