A barista in Seattle showed me how AI picks her latte art

Tbh I was grabbing coffee near Pike Place last Tuesday and this barista named Megan mentioned she uses an AI tool that analyzes her pour patterns from photos. She said it caught a 15% tilt issue she'd been making for months, and now her rosettas come out way cleaner. I asked if she felt weird about it, but she just laughed and said it's like having a coach watch every cup. Has anyone else had a hands-on craft person adopt AI in a totally unexpected way?

Wait, a 15% tilt issue? That's wild. Like, she was pouring off-center for months and just never noticed because our brains get used to our own mistakes, I guess. Honestly, that level of detail is what makes me both impressed and a little creeped out, like what else is AI gonna catch me doing wrong? Ngl, I thought latte art was all about muscle memory and feel, not math and angles. But if it makes her rosettas cleaner, maybe I should let AI check my barbecue technique or something, haha.
