I thought AI video was just a gimmick until I saw a full ad made with it
A client showed me a 30 second ad for their new cafe, and I swore it was filmed by a crew. They said it was all made with an AI tool called Pika, and the whole thing cost them under $50. I was convinced it was fake until they showed me the prompts and the raw clips. Now I'm worried small businesses are going to get scammed by people charging thousands for this. Has anyone else run into AI video work being passed off as professional filming?

You think that AI video is actually good enough to fool people? The stuff I've seen still looks weird and fake, especially with people's hands. Maybe that ad was just a lucky one-off.

Oh man, you're totally right about the hands... they always give it away. The trick is to watch the eyes and the mouth movement, not the big actions. If those look dead or out of sync, the whole thing falls apart. That ad probably had a huge budget and a ton of human editing to fix the weird bits.

Guess we're all about to get scammed by people with a thesaurus and a subscription.
