My $60 AI transcription app actually changed my workflow in 2 days

I always thought AI meeting notes were a gimmick, but I grabbed a cheap subscription during a trial and used it for a client call with messy audio. It caught every action item and even flagged a deadline I mentally missed, which saved me from a bad follow-up. Has anyone else had a tool that surprised them after you assumed it was hype?

The deadline flag thing is the part I would double check. Those tools don't really know your project, they just guess from words like "by Friday" or "next week." I tested two of them last month and one marked a soft maybe as a hard due date, which would have burned me if I trusted it. Still useful for action items, but treat the dates as a hint, not gospel.
