Hanging up after 11 calls is the funniest part, because at some point you have to wonder what your uncle was hoping would change on call 12. The pauses gave it away, sure, but so did the fact that no human being on earth stays that patient through eleven separate phone calls about a loan. A real loan officer would have either approved him or stopped picking up around call four. Your uncle was basically talking to a robot doing its best impression of someone who cares about his credit score. Honestly, eleven calls is a lot of dedication for a guy who is not even real.
