Still tripping on the day AI hit 100 million users in a week
I remember when ChatGPT crossed 100 million monthly users back in early 2023 and I couldn't believe it. That number was bigger than Spotify or Instagram took years to hit, and it just happened in like five days for generative AI. It really hit me how fast stuff is moving now compared to even ten years ago when we were still arguing about cloud storage. Has anyone else felt the pace of change get way quicker since then?

The thing nobody talks about is how your brain actually PREFERS uncertainty in some ways. When you don't know the outcome it keeps you engaged, like watching a movie with a twist you didn't see coming. That's why we keep hitting refresh on news stories even when they make us anxious, the brain treats it like a puzzle it NEEDS to solve.
