Stopped by a new coffee shop in Austin and the barista was using an AI tablet to suggest drinks

I was grabbing a latte and noticed the tablet screen next to the register. It showed a little AI character that asked the customer a couple questions about their mood and taste. The barista said they just got it a week ago and it's been suggesting wild combos, like a lavender cold brew for people feeling stressed. It felt a bit strange, but I guess it's one way to use the tech... Has anyone else seen AI popping up in random small businesses like this?

Used to think it was silly but that lavender idea sounds pretty good.

My dentist's office has a chatbot that asks how your teeth are feeling while you wait (which is a weird question to answer honestly).
