That one AI voice cloning tool saved me from 3 hours of recording

I had to record a 20-minute training video for my team and my voice kept cracking after the 5th take. Tried ElevenLabs with just 2 minutes of my natural speaking from a random meeting recording. It cloned my voice close enough that nobody noticed the switch. The trick was to speak at the same pace and tone in my sample as I would in the actual video. Has anyone else used voice cloning for work stuff without it sounding robotic?

Made sure to include a few natural pauses and breaths in my recording sample, that was the game changer for keeping it from sounding flat. Also ran the final output through a basic audio editor to add just a touch of room reverb so it blended with the real parts.

And the idea of running it through audio editors and matching room reverb for a TEAM training video sounds like overkill for something that probably gets watched at 1.5x speed.
