Had to pick between wings and thighs for my first air fryer chicken test
I was at the store last week staring at the meat section for like 10 minutes trying to decide. Ended up grabbing a pack of drumsticks because they were on sale for $3.50 at the local Safeway. Tossed them in some paprika and garlic powder at 380 for about 18 minutes and they came out way crispier than I expected. Has anyone tried doing whole legs in theirs or should I stick to the individual pieces?

Oh man, drumsticks were a solid pick for that price. I usually go with thighs myself because they're harder to dry out, but I did a whole leg once and the skin got super crispy on the drumstick part while the thigh was still a little floppy. You gotta flip them halfway or the thick part stays soggy.

And thats exactly why I just roast the whole bird upside down now, taylor957. Less flipping, less floppy drama.

And I feel like even upside down I'd still manage to burn my wrist on the pan edge, @taylor957. I think I'm just cursed.
