Hot take: Preheating your air fryer is a waste of time

I tried it both ways for 2 weeks straight with frozen fries. Preheating for 5 minutes vs just tossing them in cold. Came out the exact same crispy level every time. My buddy swears by preheating for chicken wings but I did a side by side test last Sunday and could not tell the difference. Anyone else skip the preheat and get fine results?

So you're telling me I've been standing there waiting for 5 minutes like an idiot for nothing? Guess I'll go microwave my leftovers and tell my air fryer it's been demoted.

Your "demoted" comment got me thinking. It's funny how we buy all these gadgets thinking they'll save us time but half the time they just add more steps to everything.
