I hated tofu until I threw it in the air fryer for 12 minutes
Always thought tofu was bland mush that fell apart. My roommate dared me to try her method after she got a new air fryer. Cut a block into cubes, tossed in cornstarch and soy sauce, then cooked at 400 for 12 minutes. Came out crispy on the outside and chewy inside - now I make it twice a week. Anyone else have a food you wrote off until the air fryer changed your mind?
Oh great, another reason to buy more kitchen gadgets I don't need. Air fryers are basically just tiny convection ovens that make us all feel like gourmet chefs. Guess I'll have to try this tofu thing now, because my cheap toaster oven clearly isn't cutting it.
