My sister's comment about soggy fries made me ditch the basket

My sister told me my air fryer fries were 'soggy on one side' after Easter dinner. I was annoyed but she was right, I was loading the basket too full and shaking it only once. Now I cook in two smaller batches and flip every 6 minutes at 400 degrees. Has anyone else had a family member call out something that was actually a solid cooking tip?
