PSA: Tired of digging for air fryer instructions in personal essays
Last week, I wanted to try a new chicken wing recipe. The blog post had three pages about the author's trip to Italy before any cooking info. I almost gave up and ordered takeout instead. This trend makes cooking harder than it needs to be. Let's demand recipes upfront, not buried in stories.

Honestly I used to like reading those little stories before the recipe, felt kinda homey. But last time I needed to make a quick broccoli side dish and had to scroll past six paragraphs about a farmer's market. Tbh I just wanted the temp and time. Now I totally get why everyone wants a 'jump to recipe' button at the top.

What if the stories are just filler?
