That silicone air fryer liner was a total waste of $12

I grabbed a pack of those silicone liners from Amazon thinking they'd make cleanup easier. After three uses, the edges started curling up and touching the heating element. Now my air fryer smells like burnt plastic every time I turn it on. Has anyone found a liner that actually stays flat?

Wait, am I the only person who bought a silicone liner shaped like a pizza slice? Yeah, cause I thought it'd be fun and it just made a mess. Mine warped after one use, edges curled right up like a bad perm. Now every time I open my air fryer I get a whiff of melted sadness. I tried cutting it smaller but it still flops around. Honestly, I gave up and just use parchment paper now. Way cheaper and I don't feel like a sucker when it burns.

Dude I had the exact same problem. My silicone liner started curling up on day two and now my kitchen smells like a hot plastic factory every time I use the air fryer. Parchment paper is the only way to go, I just cut a round piece and poke a few holes in it.

Might be worth checking if your liner is actually food grade silicone. I bought a cheap one that did the same thing, but my friend's higher quality one has been flat for two years now.
