Always check those spinner screws with a threadlocker before every flight, learned that the hard way.

3 times now I've had spinners come loose on planes I bought used. First time was a HobbyZone Super Cub back in 2018 and it flew right off mid-flight. The second time was a Carbon Z Cub and the spinner actually cracked the cowl when it came loose on landing. I've moved to using blue Loctite on every single spinner screw now, even on my little UMX planes. Took a chunk out of my thumb once when I was hand starting a glow engine and the prop kicked back on me too.
