I was sure the old school torque wrench was better than the digital one until a job in Wichita.

Had a buddy swear by his old click wrench for years. He borrowed my digital one during a big suspension job and just texted me last week saying he ordered his own. The beep and vibration when you hit spec is a game changer in a noisy shop, you don't have to squint at a tiny line anymore. He said it saved his neck on a long day under a truck.

Lol, my old clicker gave me trust issues.

So the vibration feedback is what sold him? That's the part I never knew I needed until I tried one. My old clicker would slip in my greasy hand and I'd miss the click half the time. Now it just buzzes in your palm, no guessing. It feels like cheating after years of the old way.

Same here. I was stuck on my old beam style torque wrench for years, thought I had it dialed in just by feel. Then I picked up a digital one for a head gasket job and the vibration feedback saved me from second guessing myself on every bolt. Nothing worse than thinking you felt the click but not being totally sure, especially on critical stuff. Now I won't go back, the buzzing just gives me peace of mind that I'm right at spec.
