When the shop switched from paper logbooks to tablets, I dragged my feet for 6 months
When our shop in Bakersfield made the jump to digital squawk entries back in 2019, I had the choice between keeping my old paper binder system or learning the tablet they handed out. I picked the paper for another 6 months because I knew every grease smudge and margin note in that thing, but it finally bit me when I missed a repeat write-up on a Navajo and the FAA guy asked for my records. Switched over that same week and now I pull up 3 years of history on one screen instead of flipping through coffee stained pages. Still miss writing stuff by hand though. Any of you guys still running paper on purpose or did everyone cave eventually?
