Finally figured out why my cooking videos kept flopping
I kept using trending music thinking it would boost views, but the algorithm actually buries posts that don't match the tempo of the visuals. Switched to original sound last week and my engagement jumped 3x on my pasta tutorial.

Wait, the algorithm actually checks if the music tempo matches the video speed? That's wild, I thought it was just about what songs were trending. No wonder my bread baking vid got buried last month, I had this slow chill track over a time lapse that was like ten times faster.

Tempo mismatch kills engagement, algorithm assumes it's boring content.

My buddy Carl had the exact same thing happen with his BBQ channel. He spent two weeks editing this brisket video with this slow lo-fi beat, and it got like 50 views. He switched to just the sound of the meat sizzling and the knife hitting the cutting board, no music at all, and his ribeye reverse sear tutorial hit 12k views in three days. The algorithm just wants the audio to match what's happening on screen, I swear.
