Had a weirdly good day on YouTube last week where three videos took off at once

Last Thursday I posted a video about how TikTok's algorithm seems to boost remixes of old songs. It got 12,000 views in the first 6 hours, which is way higher than my usual 500. Then two older videos about Instagram's shadowban patterns also started climbing out of nowhere. Has anyone else seen a random spike like that where the algorithm just decides to push your content all at once?

I used to think it was all random timing, but now I'm not so sure.

Bet the algorithm is just running a flash sale on exposure before it hikes the price back up again. Probably got accidentally assigned to the "viral test group" for a week.

lol yeah @phoenix_martin40 my buddy got that treatment and his views tanked right after the "test" ended.
