Hot take: my channel actually lost followers during that one week in June when I posted daily like the algorithm gurus said to
I gained 200 subs the week before by posting twice total and tanked my engagement by 15% when I followed the "post every day" advice from those YouTube summit guys, has anyone else seen worse results from being more active?

Used to think daily posting was the only way to grow but this changed my mind completely. Saw my own numbers dip when I tried that strategy last year and it took weeks to recover. Quality really beats quantity when it comes to keeping your audience engaged.

Doesn't daily posting just train people to expect you there every day though? When you finally slow down it makes sense they'd drop off, they got used to the constant content. I think it's more about finding your rhythm than picking one strategy.

Kinda depends on where you're at though. Daily posting works fine if you already have a loyal base that actually wants to hear from you every day. Trying to force it when you're still building trust is what usually backfires.
