I ran two identical posts on TikTok, one with trending audio and one without, and the audio one got 10x the views in 24 hours.

The algorithm clearly pushes content that uses its current favorite sounds, so now I always check the 'For You' page for audio trends before posting anything.

Yeah, checking the 'For You' page for audio is just gaming the system now. It's like how you gotta know the secret handshake to get into the good parties (or get seen online, I guess).
