I ran two identical posts on TikTok, one with trending audio and one without, and the audio one got 10x the views in 24 hours.
The algorithm clearly pushes content that uses its current favorite sounds, so now I always check the 'For You' page for audio trends before posting anything.

Wait wait wait, three views? For real? I would have been so mad if I spent time picking out the perfect trending audio and my video just flopped like that. Honestly the whole system feels rigged sometimes. You can do everything right and still get nothing. Makes me wonder if TikTok is just picking random favorites now instead of actually rewarding good content.

Yeah, checking the 'For You' page for audio is just gaming the system now. It's like how you gotta know the secret handshake to get into the good parties (or get seen online, I guess).

My buddy tried that audio trick last week. His video got like three views. Totally dead on arrival now.
