Just realized posting at 6am gets way more shares than 8pm

I run a small pressure washing page and always posted after dinner. Two weeks ago I tried posting a before and after video at 6am instead. The same video got triple the shares and way more comments. Guess morning scrollers are more likely to interact before their feed gets cluttered. Anyone else notice a big time shift for their niche?

Ugh, I gotta disagree a little bit here. I mean yeah, 6am works for some niches but I tried it with my small cleanup biz and got crickets. Homeowners were still asleep or rushing out the door, and the only comments I got were from bots or people asking if I do roofs. The real action for me is around 7pm - that's when people are winding down and actually watching videos instead of just scrolling past. Plus that evening crowd is way more likely to stay in the comments and debate with each other... like I had a whole thread about driveway sealant brands last week.

Three times the shares just from moving to 6am? Did you notice any difference in the type of people commenting, like more homeowners versus contractors?

Hitting that 6am slot changed EVERYTHING for me too. You're spot on asking about the type of people - I got way more homeowners who are up early before work scrolling through feeds. They're the ones asking specific questions about materials and long-term durability, not just quick flip stuff. Contractors tend to show up later in the day, like 8-9am, and they're more focused on pricing and time estimates. That morning crowd also shares posts way more with their local neighborhood groups, which is where the real engagement comes from. It's like two completely different audiences just based on when you post.
