Tried two different video formats on my channel last month and the results were wild

I posted a 15 minute deep dive on a news topic that took me a week to make. Then, three days later, I posted a 60 second clip of me reacting to the same topic with a shocked face. The short got 50 times more views in the first 24 hours. The algorithm clearly favors that quick, high-emotion format right now and pushes it way harder. Has anyone else seen their longer, detailed stuff just get buried no matter how good it is?

It's super frustrating when that happens. Feels like the platform punishes you for putting in real work. You're definitely not alone in seeing this.

I used to believe the algorithm was fair, but seeing this happen changed my mind.

Oh man, my friend Jenna went through the exact same thing last month. She was posting consistently for weeks and then one day her stuff just stopped getting shown to anyone. @angelam80's advice about switching up the content after a break is actually what helped her, she started posting different types of photos and it finally picked back up.

Been there. The best thing you can do is stop posting for a few days, then come back with something totally different. It resets whatever weird flag you tripped. Also, check your tags and make sure they're not too broad.
