Bought a $300 figure of Ryuko from Kill la Kill and the arm came off in the box

I pre-ordered that fancy figure from a site called WeebWonders back in March, paid $300 plus shipping, and when I opened it the right arm was just lying there loose. The peg was snapped clean off like it was made of cheap plastic or something. Has anyone else had a bad experience with figures from lesser-known import shops?

Blame @abby_morgan18 for bringing it up but its the same story with everything now. Pay premium prices for stuff that falls apart the second you look at it. Phones, cars, even clothes from the mall shrink after one wash.

Honestly that sucks but I think you might be confusing Ryuko with a different character. Ryuko is from Kill la Kill, and her figure's arm peg breaking off is a known issue with that specific batch from WeebWonders. Tbh you should check the joint socket because sometimes the peg is actually fine but the socket is warped from cheap materials.

Yeah the "known issue with that specific batch from WeebWonders" part is what got me. I used to think people were overreacting about this figure line but you and @dylan463 are right. The socket being warped from cheap materials explains a lot. Seems like they cut corners on the plastic quality for that run. I owned a different figure from them and thought it was fine at first but it started getting loose after a few months. Guess I was wrong about the brand being reliable.
