Wait, 100 completed series? That's insane, I've only got like 37 on my MAL and I thought I was doing pretty good. I've been watching anime for maybe 3 years now and I still have a huge backlog. Do you have a favorite genre or do you just watch a little bit of everything?

Funny you mention backlog, I've got a whole separate hard drive labeled "stuff my friends told me to watch" and I think I've opened it maybe twice. Last year I got obsessed with those old mecha series from the 80s and ended up binging like eight of them in a row just because I found a weird blog that ranked them by how silly the explosions were. What's the longest you've gone just watching one genre on repeat without even trying something new?

Glad it's not just me feeling behind, I'm sitting at like 45 after 4 years and thought I was doing alright. I mostly stick to slice of life and romance stuff though, so maybe that's why my numbers are lower.
