I just looked at my anime watchlist and it hit 200 shows

I was cleaning up my list on MyAnimeList and the number really surprised me. I started watching anime properly about eight years ago, but I never kept track. Seeing that big number made me think about how much time and feeling I've put into this hobby. It's not just the big hits either, a lot are older series or short ones I found through forum suggestions. Has anyone else had a moment where their own list or count made you stop and think?

Who cares about a number, doesn't it just mean you watch a lot of TV?

Seriously? My buddy watched that Chernobyl show. Couldn't sleep for a week, then went down a whole history rabbit hole. Changed how he sees the world. That's more than just watching TV.

Look at it as 200 stories you've experienced, not just TV. Even @jenny_lane12 might get that if she saw her own book count.
