I laughed at 4K remasters of 90s anime for years, then I saw one from my actual childhood

I finally watched the 4K release of a show I grew up on in 2003 and the cleaned up line art made me notice background details I missed for 20 years, so now I'm going back through my old DVD collection looking for other titles worth the upgrade, has anyone else had a remaster change how they saw a classic series?
