Overheard two guys arguing about sub vs dub at a bus stop in Seattle

Waited 20 minutes for the 7 bus last night. Two dudes next to me were going at it. One said dubs are the only way to watch because he can't read and follow action at the same time. The other said subs keep the real voice acting. Neither budged. I got to thinking. Neither is wrong really. It's about what you watch for. Action scenes get lost when my eyes have to bounce around. But character drama feels different with the original voices. So what do you guys pick when you rewatch a show the second time? Do you switch it up?

Wait, you waited 20 minutes for the 7 bus in Seattle? That's the fastest that bus has ever come, usually I stand there for an hour and watch three 14s roll by first. Man, so did those guys ever settle it or just stand there fuming the whole time? I always rewatch with subs first time, then dubs if I'm doing chores, but honestly it's a whole different show depending on which one you pick.
