Spent 3 weeks trying to figure out why my Crunchyroll queue kept resetting, and it was one dumb setting
So my watch queue kept wiping itself every few days and I figured it was a glitch or my account got hacked or something. I checked reddit threads, cleared my browser cache twice, even changed my password, and none of it helped. Finally last Tuesday I noticed my profile was set to "kids mode" from when my niece visited back in April, and that mode clears your queue on purpose every time you log out. It took 3 weeks to fix something that was literally one toggle in my settings. Did anyone else get wrecked by an account setting they forgot they changed?

Man, I used to roll my eyes at people who said "check your settings first" because I always assumed I knew my own account better than some toggle. Then my Spotify kept switching to some random country and I spent days thinking my account got jacked. Turns out I had logged into a VPN once and the region setting stuck. Now I check that stuff before I even touch a password reset. Your kids mode thing is exactly the same trap, it hides in plain sight and messes with stuff on purpose. Lesson learned the hard way for both of us.
