Those expensive art markers turned out to be a waste

I bought a set of 60 alcohol markers for $120 to color manga panels. Dried out after 3 weeks and the colors bled through everything. Anyone else fall for the hype on fancy supplies?

Totally agree, mine dried up fast and ruined my favorite sketchbook.

Ended up grabbing a set from a brand I saw mentioned in a random art blog and they've held up way better than expected, @abbyp61. The key for me was letting them sit uncapped for a minute before use to get the flow going right. Also started storing them flat instead of upright and that seemed to help a ton with the drying issue. Hope you find a set that doesn't let you down like those did.
