Tried the 3 episode rule but watched 3 episodes of 9 different shows in one weekend
I kept seeing people say to give a show 3 episodes before you drop it, so I made a list of 9 shows that looked good, and tried to get through the first 3 episodes of each one over a weekend. By Sunday night I had 27 episodes watched and could not tell you a single character's name from any of them, they all turned into one big blur of yelling and sad piano music. I learned that binging samples back to back is a terrible way to judge a show, because everything starts to feel the same when you never let one story sit with you. My friend in Boise said he does the same thing but takes a whole week per show, and honestly that sounds way smarter than my 16 hour marathon. How do you all space out new shows so you actually remember what you watched?
