A deer ran into my bay door in Kearney and my customer just shrugged
Last Thursday a guy dropped off a dented silver F-150 at my shop in Kearney, Nebraska, and while we were standing there talking about his quarter panel, a deer came flying out of nowhere and smacked straight into my open bay door. It bounced off, shook its head, and trotted away like nothing happened, and the customer just looked at me and said 'well, at least that one's not on my insurance.' I got the panel pulled and filled by Friday afternoon, but I still can't figure out why that deer thought my shop was the shortcut. Has anyone else had wildlife wander into their bay, or is Kearney just weird like that?
Watched a deer full on sprint into a plate glass window at a gas station in Ogallala once and it just got up and walked off. The fact that yours bounced off a bay door and trotted away is somehow even crazier to me. That customer's reaction might be the most Nebraska thing I've ever heard.
